Glad you guys were able to add your info to the list. I hope it will
enable you to meet other Cocoa developers in your respective areas.
Speaking only for myself, I found the instructions so obscure that I
decided
not to bother. It would be nice to have a clear step-by-step
explanation on
the site itself, since this is a useful service.
Well, the cocoadev site is a bit easier to use -- I've had it for
practice and so I had no problem adding my name to Toronto. I guess the
wiki concepts aren't that self-explanatory, but I'd have thought that
any geek would have been fascinated by the concept.
Bill, check out www.cocoadev.com. It's another way to spend your
precious time helping the community :-).
Actually, I have an idea re: mailing list repetition and cocoadev. I
recommend that anyone answering an obvious FAQ-type question or one
that has been asked before and/or is sure to be asked again, go write
it up on cocoadev.com and then just reply to the question with a link.
Or at any rate do a cut and paste, so the archive has the answer, too,
but include the link in the email.
Just a thought. (Probably been suggested already, but what the hay.)
