Problem with popup button cell inside tableview

I have a small popup button cell imbedded in a tableview column. Unless I set the row height really high, the popup button text gets truncated at the bottom. Unlike the regular popup button, the imbedded button cell displays the text very low on the cell and it's causing the truncation. What can I do to remedy this?
