I thought that I would drop everyone a note and mention that I have
(finally) packaged and posted my CHColorMapControl for all to see, use,
curse, and generally laugh at.
CHColorMapControl is basically a Cocoa control that is a colormap
editor. Since a picture is worth a thousand words (and in my case,
probably more), the web site is here:

There is an IB Palette, a Framework compiled for use as an embedded
framework within your applications, documentation, and a sample
application.
I haven't made the source open yet (mostly because it really isn't
pretty enough to do it yet), but I'll give it some thought if people
are interested in having the code.
Let me know what you think, especially if you use it in one of your
programs.
BTW, this control came in second place (???) at this year's
WebObjects/Cocoa BOF at WWDC. It was edged out by the wonderful
CircularSlider control so I didn't win the iPod (which we didn't know
was even being given away) but had a great time working on this for the
contest. We should have that contest every year (maybe more than once)
so that we can get more Cocoa widgets out there.
