changing colors in NSTableView

Hi all,
Does anyone know a way of changing the text color in an NSTableView? As it is, setting the background color in IB does weird things anyway.

If you're wondering, I'm doing this because I'm writing the GUI for my telescope controller app, and having to look at bright whites when you're out observing stars is a major drag.
