[Q] Animating (split) views

I'd like to mimic the animation that PB does when you click on one of the vertical tabs (Files, Classes, ...), the left-hand view slides to the left or right.

The question is: how do I add that kind of animation to my split view? I noticed that you can do this with windows, but I'd like to be able to do this with an NSSplitView.

Thanks,
