One click to switch windows and press controll

  • Subject: One click to switch windows and press controll

Hi,
I have been writing an application which uses an inspector pallete much
like IB's, and have got it working pretty well. However I still have one
annoying behaviour that I would like to get rid of. When clicking in the
inspector window the first click changes the key window and the second
actually clicks a controll. What I would like to happen is to be able to
have one click both select the window and press the controll. Alternatively
I would be satisfied with the behaviour that iTunes has in it's small state
whereby a click on a controll presses the controll without making the window
key.

The inspector pallete has a wide range of controlls in it and can be seen at
http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~tatd100/Qrate.jpg

While I'm at it, I have another minor problem with the inspector pallete
which can be seen in the outline view's header. I am attempting to set an
icon as the header for the second column, however, at first I only get a one
bit version of the icon and only after a bit of jiggery pokery do I get the
proper icon slightly offset - as can be seen in the screenshot.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

Bob
