Alternatively, there appears to be a gnome library called libversit
(http://www.gxsnmp.org/CVS/evolution/libversit/ amongst other places) that
will parse vcards and vcalendars, although it's not Obj-C of course.

Bizarrely (I think) libversit is copyright 1996 Apple Computer, Inc (and
AT&T, IBM, Siemens).
