NSTextField and contextual menu (again)

  • Subject: NSTextField and contextual menu (again)

I can't give up...
By creating a custom NSTextFieldCell that I put in my text field at runtime, I am able to create a contextual menu for this field.
However, it only pops up when the field is made not editable. When the field is editable, I am stuck again with the default Apple menu (Spelling, Cut, Copy, Paste).

This same problem arises in NSTableViews, as the default cell content is a NSTextField.

So I'm lost again...
I would appreciate any new directions of thought.

Arthur Clemens
