Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the sample text in IB is shifted rightward. Subsequently, I have found
that if the text I have will fit in the column with room to spare, it also
appears as expected. When I attempt to display some text whose length
exceeds the width of the column it is the right edge that is still cut off,
not the left as I would expect. I am attempting to display a file path in
the column, and I want the file name to always be visible.
