I don't understand - OS X buttons ARE grey. 3-D glassy grey, I grant
you, but grey all the same.
Maybe it's a specific case but now this means I have to use a
different GUI toolkit and can't take advantage of a lot of strengths of
working with Cocoa. Is the square buttons image based also?
If you don't like the OS X button look, you could set your buttons to be
borderless, so they only show their titles. But FYI, there are great
majestic herds of graphics apps running under Mac OS X already, with the
standard GUI elements and no problems.
