If you really want to do this, with the old archiving you could write a custom palette and use that in the nib file. With the new archiving this becomes more difficult.

Unreadable nibs could, per definition, not be used by your application.

You can make it more difficult to view the nibs in Interface Builder by
deleting the classes.nib file inside of the nib bundle (at least I think
that is the file to delete. Search the archives for confirmation.). However,
I see little reason to do that.
