It could be just anything. Corrupt memory, accessing somethin out of bounds etc.
Run the app in the debugger and chek the backtrack stack. You might get a clue
then.

What kind of app your writing is of no importance, everyone can have a SIGSEGV
rash inte their app. ;-)
