I apologize if this has already been asked and answered...
What tool does Apple use to generate the HTML documentation for the
Cocoa frameworks?
It looks really nice. I'm aware of HeaderDoc but it doesn't seem to be
able to generate documentation in the same "style". I haven't been
able to give AutoDoc a try yet because they seem to be having problems
with their website. Please advise.
Carl Lindberg is the AutoDoc perp
http://www.clindberg.org/
And he says there that the source is available here
http://www.clindberg.org/projects/AutoDoc-2.0b8.s.tar.gz
For what it's worth, the MiscKit FTP and web sites should be accessible
now. (A minor config file problem was introduced when the site was
moved to a new, upgraded server. I've fixed the problem.)
If anyone can't get at the sites, I'd like to know, though. As
alternate addresses, you can use ftp.yacktman.org to get at the MiscKit
FTP archive. The web site can also be found at
http://www.of.org/misckit/ but the normal www.misckit.com should be
working again.
And to stick with the topic of the thread: AutoDoc is worth looking
into. Really. Also, you can create your own templates and spit out
documentation in any format you like, or even tweak the templates we
give you if you want to do it differently.
