current event time?

  • Subject: current event time?

What is the Cocoa equivalent for the Carbon call
GetCurrentEventTime()?

I know about
[[NSApp currentEvent] timestamp]
but this is just the timestamp of the event currently being
processed; is there an NS or NSApp function that returns the
immediate event time, like the Carbon function?

Thanks in advance,
Chris
