Yeah, that's not a bad idea--I'll look into it (probably using the
security framework)...
I can't think of any way to deny the user control to apps in his own
user space. And that seems just right too me. :}
Well, I agree, of course. I realize that what I'm trying to do is very
difficult by design (as it should be). But essentially what I'm trying
to do is provide a convenient way for a user to lock their computer
without having to log out (thereby quitting all of their open
applications). I just think that it would be pretty lame if the whole
thing could be circumvented by a simple key combination!
I agree with you, though, that the solution may be to have the app run
outside the user space.
