I encourage you to write plugins for the new free application: iServices. It uses plugins locally for maximum performance. And it's free. More infos are included in the file. A website will be up sometime later.

Okay, so this is a generic app designed to do what? Be a free 'standard' alternative to .Mac services or something? Also, it would be wonderful if you warn us that it won't work in 10.1 beforehand, thanks. ;)
