While you can search in the omnigroup mailing list archives it is not actually possible over at Apple. Sure, they claim to have that feature too, but anyone who has ever tried to actually use it know it's a complete mess. Besides, it's very, very, convenient to be able to search both MacOSXDev and CocoaDev at the same time!
