It's easy enough to knock something together, but it's a matter of
personal preference: I tend to prefer not to have scrollbars visible
if they're not needed. If your image view fills your window, there's
something ineffably clean and pleasing about an image floating free,
without any control clutter.
That4s definitly right. I also hide the scrollers in some cases. really
depends on the individual purpose of the image- especially if you use a
nice NSImageView (with border and shadow and stuff), I agree that this
scrollbars are nasty when not neccessary.
So let me take back, what I said.... it was just that I thought Jan
might not need to bother dealing with dynamic hiding and showing of the
scrollers for what he asked.
