On my machine, the frameworks and bundles that come with the system (look
for example in /System/Library/Frameworks and
/System/Library/SystemConfiguration) are indeed plain older folders with
plain old files in them. If that's wrong, it's wrong at a system level. I
have no idea whether it is wrong, since I don't know what the intended
behavior would be. My point is simply that if your .bundle works in the
Finder like other .bundles, you have nothing to complain of. m.
