Specifying paper tray from Cocoa program

I am struggling with a printing issue. I need to specify the paper tray to be used without putting up the "Paper Feed" panel or the print dialog box. The application is running as a kiosk and needs to print directly without any user interaction. However we are using an HP cp1160tn printer with dual paper trays and need to specify "Auto" as the paper select so that it will switch to the tray with paper and make use of both trays. Every option I have found leads back to putting up the "Paper Feed" panel which is really not an option in this application. Any thoughts?
