The simplest way is to implement the method

- (void)windowDidMove:(NSNotification *)aNotification

in your window controller and then change the windows frame position after the user as moved it. If you want to control the windows position will the window is moving then I am pretty sure that you can only do it with custom windows where you have to implement your own window dragging anyway. You could try subclassing NSWindow and overriding the method setFrame: but I think that the widow will only have it's frame updated when moving has finished as the moving of the window is handled by the Window Manager.

Hey, you know how some palettes snap to place in some apps. Like "optimal positions". How is this done?
