StripedTableView and sheets

To Cocoa programmers,
I used the StripedTableView custom class from TableTester in a TableView to provide alternate row colors and it worked great. However, I also tried to use it in a sheet and it did not work properly. Only the first column is drawn correctly with the alternate row colors. Is there some subtlety about sheets that I should be taking into account?
Any help would be appreciated.
