Implementation of a server or a daemon in Cocoa

  • Subject: Implementation of a server or a daemon in Cocoa

I would like to develop a program that runs without GUI in the
background like a daemon or server. It should react to hot keys
and mouse-events on desktop, independently of it which program
even is active. Is such program possible in Cocoa?

Does anybody know how to implement such a thing?
