Ok, I have a pop up menu with some items inside, a separator, and then
another item that says "edit..", like this:
+----------------+
something
something 2
something 3
Edit...
+----------------+
When you select edit, a little editor window pops open and you can
edit the items within the pop up menu. Now, when you select "Edit..."
it should open the window, but not select this item, instead simply go
back to the last selection. I tried simply making it choose the last
selection after edit is chosen, but its not very nice, you can see the
first selection for a split second.
I don't know how to solve that, but what I can said : with the system
preferences application's Network panel, the same issue exists in the
state of my knowledge, even Apple hasn't solve the problem the only
solution I can see is to hack the private Pop up menu API. conclusion
: fill a bug/enhancement report.
