Scroll bar not activated in a TableView

Hi,
I have developed an Cocoa application using Objective-C. I have a TableView
in my application and I have checked the boxes Scrollbars-Vertical and
Scrollbars-Horizontal for that TableView. But while running the application,
the scroll bars are not getting activated (remains grey) when these are
expected to be activated. What might be the possible reason for it? If
anybody can send me a piece of code to activate the scrollbars, it will be a
great help.
