NSStatusItem & Focus

  • Subject: NSStatusItem & Focus

Hi,

I'm getting a little problem using a NSStatusBar, or more precisely a
NSStatusItem. In order to catch mouse click posistions on my
NSStatusItem, I use a custom imageView (set using setView:) and catch
mouseDown:, this went okay without problems.
Now well, as for reading the doc I see it overrides the normal
behaviour, such as menu opening. I don't care about the menu, I don't
need one, but my problem is, when I click the statusItem, the current
window (any app or the Finder) gets desactivated which is a bit
annoying, it should behave as other status items.
I think I have to override something or force the view to refuse focus
or something like that, but I'm clueless, so any suggestions are
welcome, thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Kevin
