Using NSColor With Pattern Images

  • Subject: Using NSColor With Pattern Images

I have been experimenting using images as colour to paint
in views, using the colorWithPatternImage method of NSColor.

I am wondering why there is no parallel to the PostScript
Pattern Colour Space that appeared in PostScript Level Two,
and pretty much made obsolete the whole notion of tiling with
images.

Upon reflection, I supposed one could render an arbitrary
Bezier path into an image and then use that as a 'colour'.
Thoughts, anyone?

Best Wishes,
........ Henry
