finding the path to the desktop...

  • Subject: finding the path to the desktop...

I'm trying to write to the desk top and am having problems... Is there a way making no presumptions regarding the layout of the file system to find an absolute path to the user's desktop?

Also, does anyone know why setting NSOpenPanel to select multiple might not be taking?

Thanks so much for everyone's time...
