Programmatically set file Icon to NSImage?

  • Subject: Programmatically set file Icon to NSImage?

I have an application that generates one-page PDF files from input user data. If I have an instance of NSImage that displays the contents of the PDF file, how can I permanently change that file's icon to be the NSImage? Right now, all of the PDF files have the standard Adobe PDF icon, and I'd like the icon to show a preview of the PDF contents.

Thanks,

Jason
