Joaquim,
To answer your last question you should look at the VBL sample project
on Apple's site, it is dealing with this exact issue. For the other
questions you are probably better off asking on the Apple OpenGL list.
Some people do read both, but this question would get answered there
much faster (and usually with more authority) than here, since it is
the appropriate forum.
