I have never had any problems with upgrading to a new Mac OS X point
release. 10.2.5 was no exception.
Were there any changement in the cocoa framework since 10.2.3 (wich
was the release i used before)?
Remember, folks: lsbom is your friend!

So, yes, there apparently were indirect changes to Cocoa. There was a
new version of AppKit in 10.2.5, and AppKit is the GUI part of Cocoa. I
don't know what it changed, though, if anything... I was unable to find
any release notes at ADC like the one that covers changes made in
10.2.3.
