Save features in Alert Sheets

  • Subject: Save features in Alert Sheets

I recently began to wonder why the user is presented with an Alert Sheet
stating whether they wished to Save the file they are about to close but
then upon clicking Save the user was then presented with another sheet.

From a usability stand point it would seem beneficial if the user was only
prompted with one sheet which features, "Don9t Save", "Cancel", and "Save"
but as well as the File Name text field and the NSDisclosureButtonCell to
toggle the file system view.

I'm not sure how to implement this but any thoughts about the idea or
implementation?
