Overriding NSTextField Background Drawing

  • Subject: Overriding NSTextField Background Drawing

Right now Textfields can draw a background color, how can I draw whatever I want into that background as often as I want? Is that possible? I'm assuming it would require getting a view for the background and drawing into it, but I'm not sure if it's entirely possible or how to go about it.
