Dynamically setting a files icon

  • Subject: Dynamically setting a files icon

Hi All,
Is there a way to dynamically set a files icon, the way photoshop did or does? I am working on a puzzle game that creates puzzles, and I want to create a small image of the created puzzle and pop it into the files icon. I am dreaming here, but I am estimating that it would require quit a bit of code. Anyone?
