Windows...)
But one of the main bonuses of developing cocoa is how easy the tools
are to use, and you lose that instantly here.
So? Develop on OS X, port to gnustep. There will be some pain
involved, but it will be limited, and if you learn something, your code
should remain portable (and new code either is good already or will be
so very quickly).
I downloaded gnustep a while ago on a windows box and thought "Great.
Now what do I do now?" And the answer was complicated enough to make
me give up.
No pain, no gain.... ;-)
I don't mean any disrespect to them, (the ease of use and number of
downloads complaints are indicative of many cooperative software
efforts) but since gnustep's focus isn't 100% on trying to clone
cocoa, if they do it will be incidental to having produced an
excellent openstep implementation.
As a matter of fact, they are generally tracking changes made to Cocoa.
