Toolbar Item First Responder

  • Subject: Toolbar Item First Responder

I'm having trouble getting an NSTextField toolbar item to become the first responder when using makeFirstResponder: in windowDidLoad. Can I not do this then? It works perfectly well in other places so I'm assuming it's a matter of when and where I call this.

For what it's worth, I have setup the toolbar before trying to make the item first responder.

Thanks,

Seth Willits
