Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to use the WebKit framework included
with Panther on 10.2. I tried just replacing the WebKit.framework
folder on 10.2 with the one from 10.3. When I did that and launched
Safari, the browser would not load any pages. Is there something I am
missing. Do I need to copy any other frameworks over? The reason I
am doing this is because there is a bug in the current WebKit
framework on 10.2 that is fixed in 10.3.
If anyone has any suggestions on how I can get this to work please
reply.
Why don't you put back the old version, and try to find a newer version
of WebCore.framework and JavaScriptCore.framework. You can get those
from Apple's Darwin site. Not sure if they've been updated since WWDC.
Perhaps you can take the Panther versions of those frameworks and put
them in your Jaguar version.
Of course, none of this will help when trying to ship the app for
Jaguar, so I hope you're just doing this to develop in Jaguar as well.
