Ummm... what layout are you using right now? It can't be Italian,
nor US, nor any other ISO layout, because those all have the numbers
in the lowercase portion of the top row (if you don't count any
F-keys). I'd suggest you take a good look at your MacOS if you really
need to hold down the shift key just to get a number.
