I have heard that they are pretty good. Have you seen the free
preview? It it is really good, and it doesn't talk about anything in
deep detail. The WWDC DVDs do. At the end of the preview movie, you
see a list of topics covered in the for-purchase sessions. They are
quite substancial.
If you can afford it, (how much are they asking?) it might be
worthwhile to get them and get up to speed on the new stuff in Panther
(there's a lot)
