Sorry, should have said iconcomposer

Hi,
iconcomposer, which is part of the development tools, has stopped
working.
It complains that it can not save a file in the private/tmp/501...
directory. I have tried running the program on three different
machines (just in case the filesystem was corrupted on one) and get the
same message. The application was working last week and no new
software has been installed! This is very weird?
Does the collective genius on this list have any helpful hints/views?
Are other people able to get it to work?
