[OT] MacOSX feedback question

  • Subject: [OT] MacOSX feedback question

I would to know why MacOSX seems too slow (compared with OS9) in the gui feedback aspect.
Is there a techical answer? Can we hope in a next "fast gui" release?
I have asked this question to some other people. The most interesting anwser is this:
"MacOSX feedback is slow becase the window manager run in a separate level from kernel. In os9 the kernel/gui manager was strictly integrated. This separation can make more stable and robust the system, but it will can be a little slow."
Is this true?

Thx
Daniele
