NSWindow delegates

I have an NSWindow with it's delegate set to one of my classes. I
implemented the windowWillClose method to be informed when the window
closes. It worked fine until a couple days ago when it just began to
fire whenever the app quit, whether the window is open or not. It still
works when the window gets closed. I don't remember touching anything
related to this function or the window, but apparently I must have.
Anyone have any ideas as to what I might have changed to cause the
window to fire when the app gets quit?

thanks
chris
