oops - I thought that an install would wipe out the
Developer/Applications folder, so that this was a new release of PB. I
see it still says December 2002 tools.

I don't think so. I don't see PB anywhere on the Xcode CD. However, I
do have PB installed on Panther, but that is left over from the 10.2.8
install that I upgraded. While it seems to work just fine, that
doesn't mean that it is supported.
