Hey guys,

Heres a dilemma I am having. I have a NSDocument based app and have a NSTextView defined in my NSDocument sub-class. I have another class, which is for a live preview window, what I want to do is get the string from the NSTextView defined in the NSDocument subclass, but in this other class. So basically in non-coding terms, I want to contact the TextView from a different class. I've heard about NSNotifications but don't really get the hang of it.

Thanks,
Oliver
