This is possible in Windows so my question is...

is it possible on the Mac?

We are porting Windows antivirus software and would like to give our Mac
users the capability of right-clicking (or Ctrl-Clicking with a single
button mouse) a file and selecting "Scan this file now" to scan it.

It's kind of hard to search for such a feature so if you could point me
in the right direction that would be great.
