CW8 .lib file and Obj-C

Hi all,
I've just been given a .lib file (produced with CW8) and I need to use it in
an Obj-C/Cocoa project.
The headers, etc. all compile fine, but when I get to the linking step, I
get a message saying:
ld: can't locate file for: -lMYAPIM_DBG
(where the lib name is MYAPIM_DBG.lib.) Has anyone seen this before? If so,
how'd you fix it? :)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
