current user if started from /Library/StartupItems

Hi all,

I've a little problem here for a while and I haven't found a solution yet.

I start a tool from /Library/StartupItems, later on I need in a specific
time interval the username of the current log in user.

The problem is that every function NSUserName, getenv("USER"),
getiud() returns the root user. How do I get the actual console user?
