Using Project Builder CVS with alternate port?

I'm trying to configure Project Builder's CVS so I can use an alternate port other than the default, but so far I've had no luck. If I invoke cvs in the terminal window, I have no problem as long as I set the CVS_CLIENT_PORT environment variable to my alternate port. However, PB appears not to recognize the environment variable.

Does anyone have any ideas?
