Hi,
I know this is not the best list to ask this but I was hoping one of
you can help me.
I have a Power Mac Dual 867MHz, I want to buy memory for it and I found
that some stores sell the PC2100 mem (for Mac they say) for CAD$350
while the same type of memory for PC costs CAD$150.
All the main charcteristics are the same, CAS 2.5, Unbuffered, 2.5V,
184-pin, non error correcting, non parity. So I was wondering if it is
safe to buy the cheaper PC memory and use it in my Mac??, are these the
only characteristics that have to be checked??
Thank you very much in advance for your help
Jacobo
