Mounting Remote Volumes

I need to programmatically mount remote volumes with Cocoa.
How to do?

I would like to do this:
the user drag a folder from a remote volume mounted on his desktop onto my
application and I get the pathname. I can do this already.
Now I would like to get everything I need to mount that volume (included
user and password for the next connection).
The next time the user launch my application, I mount that volume
automatically.

Any sample code, tutorial, documentation?
Someone already suggested to use Rendevouz, but I cannot find any sample
about my needs. Any suggestion?

Thank you
